Laws & Regulations pertaining to Travel Agencies
All partners with whom we organize travel have safeguarded customer investment in accordance both with EU guidelines for package travel and Austrian travel agency regulations (RSV) as published in Austrian Federal Law Gazette II No.10/1998 and amended in Austrian Federal Law Gazette No.118/1998.
In accordance with RSV, Sotour Austria is registered in the catalogue of tour operators with serial number 2002/0052. Customer money is guaranteed through BAWAG, policy No. 01060-200-765 and through our membership in the VIP insurance cooperative . Claims are processed by Europäische Reiseversicherung AG in 1090 Vienna, Augasse 5-7, telephone 01/317 25 00. All claims relating to those events cited in §1 par.3 of the RSV are to be reported to Europäische Reiseversicherung AG within 8 weeks of their occurrence.
